Hidden in a corner of the city of Oporto, the Garden of the Corujeira is an exorbitance of well-being for the lovers of nature. Located next to Estádio do Dragão, in the parish of Campanhã, in the eastern part of the city, the garden is like a loop of various communication routes: near the São Roque da Lameira Street, Via da Cintura Interna, April 25th Avenue and the Circunvalação Road.
Its named after the creation of owls, and it was reclassified as a garden in 1993. It allows the practice of sports, meditation, children's activities, since it has a park, besides the abundance of tables and benches for the residents and visitors to enjoy, while observing the immense trees that are there, being allowed to invade by the air of all the fauna and flora present in the place.
"Nature is essential for a reconnection with yourself. It is a side of the human being and a peace that people sometimes forget ", reveals Andressa Lira, 24, a Brazilian Graphic Design student, who is in a mobility period at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of OPorto.
We are all part of nature and nature is a part of us. The contact between these two bodies allows a discharge and relaxation that transcends the well-being. "Nature is energy and so are we. It makes this connection with our interior and helps to reflect on everything that really is important, it gives back the lightness that the daily routine of the day takes away, "recognizes Andressa. So, if you are looking for extremely beautiful places to live with nature, be sure to meet with yourself in Garden of the Corujeira, and have an indescribable experience.
