Jardim Teófilo Braga, located in Oporto, in the parish of Cedofeita, named after the poet, writer and teacher of the same name, is also known as Jardim da Praça da República.
This garden has a lawn area with grove, some flower beds and various sculptures. Among the statues of the garden are Baco, by António Teixeira Lopes, Padre Américo, by Henrique Moreira and Republica, by the sculptor Bruno Marques.
The sound of traffic is quite characteristic in this place, since the garden is in an area with high traffic, surrounded by traffic lights. Nevertheless, if we sit on one of the pleasant benches in the garden, we can hear some birds.

In the fauna we can highlight some species, such as: palm trees, deciduous cypress, sweet-william beds, coyote shrubs and purple beeches. On the flora the seagulls and the turkish rolls stand out.
