It will be on 21st and 22nd of April that Fundação Serralves will one more time give encouragement to develop the knowledge about the biological life of the park.
The fifth edition of the Bioblitz will have free entrance and the support of the Lipor institution and Porto’s city council.
The organization’s main goal is to draw the society attention for the nature care and preservation.
According to the institution, this project is an “great effort to get together some specialists of many areas such as volunteers, families, students, teachers and other members of the community with curiosity to find more about the biodiversity of this place”. There are many species in that park like oaks, blackbirds, wrens, frogs and mosses.  Scheduled are scientific and pedagogical officines, field trips with researchers from CIBIO-InBIO, workshops, games and the show “Água” from Circolando – Cultural Company.
This weekend is happening after the reserved week for school community (16th until 20th april), that invites students and teaches to join the scientific activities that include 10 areas: trees, amphibians, bats, lichens, bryophytes, birds, reptiles, insects and mushrooms.
The participation implies prior registration.
